Initially we began by hosting sites through a large service provider that provided a simple (and cheap) method of getting client's sites onto the internet. However, we found that we were not in control of the server, bandwidth was limited and that unacceptable levels of downtime were occurring so we decided that to improve the service levels, we needed to be in control of our own servers.

We now run our own servers situated in Telehouse, London which is the home of LINX (The London Internet Exchange) to ensure that your website is right on the main UK internet backbone.

Telehouse is a secure facility, situated in the heart of Docklands and offers us the ability to increase our usage dependant on the needs of our clients.

We use Windows 2000 servers, and while Microsoft products (especially IIS) often receive bad press for being vulnerable to attack, our servers have thankfully withstood the recent internet worm attacks without suffering any infections.

The power and flexibility of IIS allows us to quickly and easily build complicated websites using a whole variety of technologies and because we own and control the servers, we are able to deploy new technologies as soon as we are happy they are worthwhile.

Our servers are monitored by NetAlert to ensure that we are aware of any potential problems within minutes.
