We are a small company based in Swindon, Wiltshire that was initially formed 6 years ago to address the needs of clients requiring specialised skills on a contract basis.

Over the last six years we have worked for a variety of clients including individuals and both large and small companies.

We have recently expanded our workforce to enable us to concentrate more effort into helping people improve their Internet presence, whether that is creating a first site, or expanding and promoting an existing site.

We were asked to work on the development of an Autopilot for one of last year's entrants in the Vendee Globe round the world yacht race. This involved developing a complex real-time application that assessed input from many sensors and controlled the yacht's rudder so that the lone skipper could catch up on sleep, while ensuring the yacht's progress was as quick as if being controlled by the skipper.

We have been involved in projects for the likes of Bristol & West and Hewlett Packard that involved analysing their business processes and developing a system to allow these to be automated via the use of workflow systems. The systems were built using both conventional applications and also allowed intranet access to the application, so that anyone, anywhere in the organisation could be involved just by using their web browser. This provides an increased level of flexibility and minimises deployment costs.

These systems also involved being linked to Imaging systems, capable of handling the scanning and indexing of thousands of documents per day, which were then made available via web browser integration to enable anyone access to important documents without the need to deploy specific software to user's machines.

We have been involved in the development of intranet projects for several companies, whether this was a full-blown application such as the workflow example or simply the creation of a portal so that company information can be disseminated to everyone in the organisation with minimal costs.
